Grace Church yard sale will raise money for Dumfries community

DUMFRIES — The members of Grace Church are donating new and gently-used items which are available at affordable prices to the local community on July 13.

From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., there will be a wide array of items including clothes, jewelry, books, toys, and household goods.

They want the entire community to come out and take advantage of the items that will they have for sale.

In addition to the yard sale items, food will also be sold including hamburgers, hotdogs, baked goods, and BBQ.

The goal is to not only to provide affordable clothing and other items, but also to raise money that will be invested directly into the local community.

According to Jaimie Gordon, media relations consultant for Grace Church, 100% of the proceeds will go into the Grace Church MEGA Difference Fund, which will provide resources and support to the local community.
