The 2019 Sheriff’s race in greater Prince William County will feature one nonpartisan candidate, Ms. Rhonda Dickson.
Rhonda is the first female candidate in county history to contend for the Sheriff’s seat. Rhonda is a lifelong resident and native of Prince William County, a decorated veteran of the United States Air Force, and a former Prince William County Police Officer and retired Sheriff’s Office Deputy.
When Rhonda is elected a great milestone in Prince William County history will be achieved, marking the first time a female Sheriff has been elected in Prince William County since the office’s inception in 1731.
Given Rhonda’s extensive military and law enforcement career, she is uniquely positioned to continue her lifelong service to our community in the capacity of Prince William County’s Sheriff.
