Susan Denise Tomsko
January 19, 1960 – September 2, 2017
Susan passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones after a nearly 5 year courageous battle with colon cancer. Sue was born in Brackenridge Pa. Sue graduated from Clarion State College in 1982. She was a special education teacher with Prince William County schools since 1994, both at Marumsco Hills Elementary School and Gainesville Middle School, where she touched many lives, both young and old, with her true caring and compassion for those she taught and cared for. Those who knew her will always be blessed and honored to have had the opportunity to receive her company. Her lighthearted, contagious smile and distinct Pittsburgh accent left a lasting impression on friends and colleagues alike. Throughout the years, she taught Sunday school and was an assistant wrestling coach. Sue’s true loves were cooking, music, Christmas, her family and family gatherings, and her Pittsburgh Steelers. Sue adored her grandchildren. She was most proud of getting to see her 3 young boys grow to become responsible, devoted, loving husbands and fathers. Sue’s dedication to her family was steadfast and enduring. Susan is remembered by her husband as a true gift from God.

Susan is survived by her loving husband Victor, three sons Victor John (Elise), John David (Katie), Matthew James (Lindsey), and grandchildren Cheyenne, Sophia, Lucas, Nathan, and Savannah. She is also survived by her mother Patricia Drane (Musin) and predeceased by her father Raymond Drane.
