Winifred Alma Deyarmin "Dee"

Winifred Alma Deyarmin “Dee”, age 91, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Reston Hospital Center in Reston, Virginia.

Dee was born on October 9, 1925 in Indiana, PA to the late Chester Clark and Grace Catherine (Beers) Bair. Winifred was a generous and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother to not only family but to the many she fostered as her own.

Predeceased by her husband: Cebert Chalmer Deyarmin; her parents; two children: Betty Kay Purinton and Winna Joan Cullen; granddaughter: Awanda and great grandson: Brian.

Survivors include seven children “WHOM SHE LOVED ALL THE SAME”: Peggy Louise DeYarmin, Timothy Cebert Deyarmin and wife Janice, Donna Virginia Haynes and husband Tollie, Cindy Ann Walker and husband John, Alma Helen Ours and husband David, Cathy Lee Deyarmin, Alan Chalmer Deyarmin and wife LeaAnn; two son-in-laws: Louis Purinton, Robert Cullen; brother-in-law: Cloyd “AC” Deyarmin; sister-in-law: Emma Deyarmin; 22 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 1 in the bun; and 2 great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, VA. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Madisonville Presbyterian Church, 300 County Line Road, Cullen, Virginia 23934. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. A reception will take place immediately after the graveside service at the church fellowship hall.
