Ausbert Marion Houff, Jr., age 88, of Triangle, VA, passed away on August 24, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Margaret (Miller) Houff. Loving father of Diane Caulder (late Jimmy) and the late John Martin Houff (Sue). Cherished grandfather of Tina Kibler (Thomas), Derek Caulder, and Shane Caulder. Great grandfather of Antonio Kibler. Dear brother of the late Sara Goins. Also survived by his nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

Born in Washington, DC to the late Ausbert Marion Houff, Sr., and Orpha Lennore (Remsberg) Houff. Ausbert was a groundskeeper for golf courses. He was very meticulous in his work. When time permitted, he and his family enjoyed Camping, fishing, boating and water skiing. In later years he liked to watch television, especially channel 7. He was a die hard Redskins fan, and made sure his immediate family were also fans.

The family will receive friends at the Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Boulevard, Dale City, VA 22193 on Monday, August 28, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.

Inurnment will be at a later date at the Pleasant View Lutheran Church Cemetery, Staunton, VA, where he will be placed next to his beloved wife; Margaret.
