Charles Ted Bauserman, age 71, born May 18, 1946, passed away on August 17, 2017, at his home in Wilmington, North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles L. "Chic" and mother, Dorothy V. He is survived by his daughter Cyndi Lee Allen (A. Scott Allen), of Greensboro, NC, his sister Jo Marie Duke (Marty Duke) of Huntsville, AL, forever friend Sandra Taylor Cottrell, two nieces, a nephew and several loving cousins.
Ted was a graduate of Osbourn High School and went on to attend Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. After moving to Wilmington, North Carolina Ted retired from Talbott & Bright in 2014.
He will always be remembered by friends as having a quick wit, good sense of humor and love of music. Growing up Ted was a member of several local bands, most popular of which was the “Turmoil”. He enjoyed watching sports and was a big fan of the Carolina Panthers, and the Virginia Tech, Hokies.
A celebration of life will be held at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, VA on Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at 11:30 am.
