Macaria Santos, age 93, of Dumfries, VA, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Jose de La Cruz Mejia. Loving mother of Santos Gutierrez (Marlene). Cherished grandmother of Miguel Angel Gutierrez (Monica), Anna Patricia Ashworth (Jeff), and Marvin Gutierrez (Christie). She was predeceased by her siblings.
Macaria was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. She will be missed by all who knew her.
A visitation and service for her will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 beginning at 7:00 PM at the Inglesia de Juda Monte de Sion Church, 1529 Old Bridge Road, # 106, Woodbridge, VA 22192. A procession will leave the church on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 9:00 AM to go to the interment at Dumfries Cemetery.
