Patricia Rose Cross

On Sunday, July 2nd 2017, Patricia Rose Cross “My beloved Mother”,
The stabilizer of our family, The Giver of Love, drifted into eternal
sleep at the age of fifty eight.
Born in Portsmouth, Virginia on January 17th, 1959, she
was the daughter of Nancy and Clinton Cross, currently of San Antonio, Texas.
She attended Central High school, and later graduated from Roanoke Chowan college
with a degree in English.

Those left to cherish her memories are parents Nancy L. Cross and Clinton L. Cross; one son, Eric Reese Clatterbuck of Dale City, Virginia; one sister, Vivian L. Cross of San Antonio Texas; two brothers, Garland N. and Kelvin L. Cross of San Antonio Texas; several nieces, cousins, and nephews.

In her early years she, her mother, brothers and sister traveled extensively
with their military father to various ports of origin visiting places most only
dreamed of seeing. Her parents supported her love of softball by taking her on bus trips to play the game she loved, while they were stationed in Germany.
Pat also spent 29 years of employment for the Federal
government and retired in her early years. Pat loved having company and friends
visit for short or long periods and loved helping people. She had a
voracious love for reading and keeping up with world events.
Anyone seeing Pat would definitely and consistently witness a
beautiful smile. The smile signified her love for people which will be engraved in the hearts of all who came into contact with her.
