Thomas Eddy Merritt, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2017 at Manassas Health and Rehab Center in Manassas, VA.
He was born on October 2, 1945 in Denver, CO. Mr. Merritt was the past Chief of Manassas Park Volunteer Fire Department and retired from Fairfax County as an Accident Reconstruction Specialist. He loved trains, rock and roll and John Wayne.
Survivors include his loving wife of 22 years, Revah Merritt of Manassas Park, VA; one son: Eric Yetter of Lee County, FL; one daughter: Kristin Johnson and husband Leroy of Culpeper, VA; one brother: Dennis Merritt of Florida and one grandson: Terence Dangerfield of Culpeper, VA.
