El muy aventurero José Aubin Alarcón Ladino está ahora explorando el Cielo. José nació en Colombia el 2 de septiembre de 1951 y fue a estar con el Señor el 10 de junio de 2017. Nació de Graciano Alarcón Moya y Ana Elvia Ladino en Colombia y vivió allí hasta que dejó su país en 1986 para venir a los Estados Unidos de America. Dejó atrás a su esposa e hijos con el objetivo de llevarlos a su nueva tierra. Él consiguió traerlos a todos aquí en 1998. Todos sus niños y uno de sus nietos nacieron en Colombia. Siete nietos nacieron en los Estados Unidos.
Su hijo William, siempre se sintio agradecido de tener a su padre en su vida y orgulloso de ser su hijo. Joyero de profesión, José trabajó para Tiffany’s en Nueva York y luego se trasladó a Virginia y se fue a trabajar para Terry Quinn en Quinn’s Goldsmith en Occoquan, Virginia. José tenía una fuerte ética de trabajo y siempre estaba a tiempo. Él era muy responsable y siempre mantuvo su palabra. Terry Quinn dijo: "Era un hombre muy bueno, con quien siempre podía contar. Siempre pienso en él con la más alta estima. Un hombre tan grande. Fue amado por todos ". Esto solo nos habla de qué clase de hombre era José. Cuando era joven le encantaba correr. Últimamente gustaba más de dar largos paseos y disfrutar del mundo a su alrededor. Cuando no pasaba tiempo con la familia que era su mundo, encontraría a José con sus muchos amigos. Le encantaba hacer parrilladas. Sus habilidades de barbacoa eran excepcionales y su comida era siempre genial! Pasaba muchas horas con su familia y amigos escuchando música de Colombia y simplemente pasando el rato. Disfrutaba pasar tiempo en la playa y cuando su familia se unía a él era muy feliz. ¡Su familia en Colombia estaba muy orgullosa de él! No sólo se convirtió en un respetado joyero sino en un hombre muy respetado. Tenía un propósito. A José le sobreviven sus hijos Yehin, Nidia, William y Javier, así como ocho nietos, y una mas en camino, su madre Ana, las hermanas Ana, Alcira, Gladis, Cleotilde, Emelina y los hermanos Gonzalo, Horacio, Manuel, Javier y Jhon. Su padre, Graciano le falleció antes. José fue un luchador hasta el final.

The very adventuress Jose Aubin Alarcon Ladino is now exploring Heaven. Jose was born in Colombia on September 2, 1951 and went to be with the Lord on June 10, 2017. He was born to Graciano Alarcon Moya and Ana Elvia Ladino in Colombia and lived there until he left his country in 1986 to come to the United States of America. He left behind his wife and children with the goal of bringing them to his new land. He managed to bring all of them here in 1998. All of his children and one of his grandchildren were born in Colombia. Seven grandchildren were born in the United States.
A jeweler by trade, Jose first worked for Tiffany’s in New York and then he moved to Virginia and went to work for Terry Quinn at Quinn’s Goldsmith in Occoquan, Virginia. Jose had a strong work ethic and was always on time. He was very responsible and always kept his word. Terry Quinn said “He was a very good man, someone I could always count on. I always think of him with the highest esteem. Such a great man. He was loved by all”. This alone speaks volumes as to what kind of man Jose was.
When he was young he loved to run. Lately he was more into taking long walks and enjoying the world around him. When not spending time with the family who was his world, you would find Jose with his many friends. He loved to grill out. His barbeque skills were outstanding and his food was always great! He would spend many hours with his family and friends listening to Colombia music and just hanging out. He enjoyed spending time at the beach and when his family would join him he was very happy.
His family in Colombia was so very proud of him! Not only did he become a respected jeweler but a highly respected man. He had a purpose.
Jose is survived by his children, Yehin , Nidia, William and Javier, as well as eight grandchildren, His mother Ana, sisters Ana, Alcira, Gladis, Cleotilde, Emelina and brothers Gonzalo, Horacio, Manuel, Javier and Jhon. His father, Graciano predeceased him.
Jose was a fighter until the end.
There will be a visitation at Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home 13318 Occoquan Road in Woodbridge, VA 22191 on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 starting at 4PM and going to the time of the service at 7PM. The visitation will continue after the service and end at 12 midnight.
