David Forjong

David Nkengafac Forjong, 71, of Manassas Park, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

David was born in Lekong, Fontem, in the Republic of Cameroon on December 28, 1945. On December 27th, 1970, he married Judith B. Njunkeng, and together they have raised 7 children.

He attended the College of Preceptors in London from 1968-1970 earning an A.C.P. Diploma in Education; from 1977 – 1979 he obtained a L.C.P degree (Bachelors of Education); and from 1983-1985 earning his F.C.P. degree (Masters in Education).

David was a devout Catholic who lived a Christ centered life. His passions, besides his loving family, were serving God, charity, teaching and educating.

Left behind to cherish is memory are his loving wife, Judith Forjong; and his 7 children and 10 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 9:15-10:00 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church, 9300 Stonewall Road, Manassas, Virginia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in the church sanctuary, with burial will take place in the Forjong Burial Plot in Buea, near the Southwest Province Cameroon at a later date.
