Malicious Wounding | Domestic Assault & Battery – On April 23 at 7:30AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 15000 block of Cloverdale Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a domestic assault. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 33 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, identified as Lamar GRADY, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused grabbed the victim by the neck. When the victim was able to get away from the accused, the accused went to the victim’s vehicle and smashed the windshield with his feet. At some point, the accused became involved in another verbal altercation with a different acquaintance, identified as Akwasi BANAHENE. At some point, the two began to fight and police were contacted. During the fight, BANAHENE punched GRADY in the face causing a laceration to his lip. Officers arrived at the residence and detained GRADY and BANAHENE without further incident. GRADY was transported to a local hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported. Following the investigation, both men were arrested.              ÂArrested on April 23:
