Here’s what you can shred Saturday at Tackett’s Mill Center

Tackett’s Mill will host a free document shred on Saturday, March 12 from 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., or until the truck reaches capacity. The shred truck will be located in the commuter lot at the intersection of Old Bridge Road and Minnieville Drive.

The TruShred truck will only accept paper products such as lined notebook paper, office paper, and folders. Staples, rubber bands and small paper clips are allowed. X-rays, newspapers, card board, 3-Ring Binders, CDs, binder clips, and plastic are not allowed. There is no size or weight restriction, but each car is only allowed to shred up to four boxes.  The shredders will take the documents and return all boxes or bags to the owners. A camera will be set up outside the truck for those wishing to see their documents being shredded.

The free shred is sponsored by the merchants of Tackett’s Mill Center.
