Prince William police said the name of the man killed in a fiery crash on Joplin Road earlier this month is Tyrone Anthony Mayo, 31, of Triangle.
Mayo was driving a 2009 Pontiac Vibe on January 8 and crashed in the 18100 block of Joplin Road.
The car burst into flames, and Mayo was pronounced dead on the scene. His was the only car involved in the crash.
Joplin Road is a two-lane road that bridges the gap between Route 1 at Quantico with Route 234 at Independent Hill, near Manassas.
