What is occurring in Prince William County that is accelerating life sciences start-ups?

Prince William County will hold an open house at its Science Accelerator complex outside Manassas. 

Officials and doctors will gather on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. to provide insight and an update into the life sciences work ongoing in the center.

Prince William County, one of Virginia’s largest and fastest growing counties, is providing the catalyst for faster growth and commercialization of life sciences. On Wednesday, December 9th, 2015 please join us for a panel discussion featuring the area’s foremost leaders of science, innovation and higher education for an update on what is occurring in Prince William County’s expanding life sciences community. Speakers will discuss the latest advances in life sciences discovery, university-based research collaboration and reveal what is occurring in Prince William County that is accelerating life sciences start-up and early stage businesses.

Prince William County prides itself on being home to the only public-private, commercially available wet lab spaces in Northern Virginia. Situated in Innovation Park, the Prince William Science Accelerator was created to provide the catalyst for growing our life sciences cluster by delivering to start-ups and early-stage companies an innovative environment and speed to market through readily available space, equipment and access to industry networks, partnerships and internships.
