A Prince William County man is charged with stabbing another man outside a North Stafford Walmart.
The stabbing occurred Aug. 9 in a Walmart parking lot on Garrisonville Road. Investigators said the suspect forced his victim’s car into the parking lot, got of his vehicle, and stabbed the passenger side door and the victim in the arm.
Stafford sheriff’s Detective Eric Schinault tracked down the suspected stabber a home outside Dumfries. A man who answered the door at the suspect’s home did not want to comment on the matter and asked reporters not to return.
Mark Jozef Barron, 22, of Marhalt Place in the Brittany subdivision of Prince William County, is charged with malicious wounding, said Stafford sheriff’s spokesman Bill Kennedy.
Barron turned himself into Stafford County authorities today after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
He is now in the custody of the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
