A Woodbridge woman was robbed and pepper sprayed on the evening of July 23.
According to Prince William police, officers responded to a call for the incident, which took place at Chinkapin Oak Lane in Woodbridge.
The victim – a 32-year old woman – told officers that she was getting into her vehicle when she was approached by 35-year old Lorton woman Sherri Boyd, stated Prince William police.
During the incident, the victim tried to close her car door, when Boyd sprayed the victim in the face with pepper spray. Boyd then struck the victim in her face, before taking the victim’s cell phone, stated Prince William police.
Prince William police stated that the two struggled before Boyd fled the scene.
The victim reported minor injuries.
Boyd is currently wanted by Prince William police for robbery, assault with a caustic substance, grand larceny, and assault and battery. She is described as a black female, 5’9” and 220 pounds with black hairs and brown eyes, said Prince William police.
