Man robbed, assaulted, near Best Western hotel in Woodbridge

On the evening of July 14, Prince William police responded to the Sentara Medical Center on Opitz Boulevard in Woodbridge to investigate a robbery.

According to Prince William police, the victim – a 32-year old Woodbridge man – told officers that he had arranged to buy marijuana that night from two acquaintances behind the Best Western hotel on Potomac Mills road, near the area of the homeless camps.

During the meeting, the victim was hit in the face several times by the two individuals and his money was taken, stated Prince William police.
