On the evening of June 15, Prince William police responded to a call for a robbery at the Tackett’s Mill Shopping Center in Woodbridge.
According to Prince William police, the victim – a 69-year old Woodbridge woman – told police that she was walking through the parking lot at the shopping center when she was approached by an unknown individual.
During the incident, the individual grabbed the victim’s shopping cart, which held the victim’s purse, and demanded money.
The individual took money and fled on foot.
No one was injured.
The suspect is described as a black male, between 40 and 50, 6’4” and 220 pounds with a heavy build and a bald head. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and dark colored pants.
