Prince William County Parks & Recreation will host a golf tournament on Friday, June 19, 2015, at Forest Greens Golf Club, to benefit The First Tee Prince William County program for local youth.
Forest Greens Golf Club is an award-winning 18-hole golf course is located in Triangle, Virginia and features a par 72 golf course measuring 6,839 yards from the Championship Tees.
Early Bird registration is open now through June 1st at the reduced fee of $85 per person; once closed registration will be $110 per person. Cost includes greens & cart fees, practice range balls, and a sumptuous buffet dinner (additional contest and prizes are included). Sponsorship packages are available through June 1st.
The mission of The First Tee program is to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.
The First Tee of Prince William County, established in 2002, is headquartered at Lake Ridge Park Golf Course, with additional programming at four regulation 18-hole golf courses within the county: General’s Ridge Golf Course in Manassas Park, Prince William Golf Course in Nokesville, Forest Greens Golf Course and Locust Shade Park in Triangle. We serve all young people ages 4 yrs to 17 yrs, in the Northern Virginia area. The cost for each camp varies depending on the number of hours conducted. Most camps are conducted for 12 hours over a period of 4 days to 10 weeks depending on the camp.
