A 17-year-old male from Manassas is charged with distribution of child pornography.
Manassas police announced March 19 an arrest had been made after a months-long investigation into exploitation of children over the internet. Local police, as well as agents from the Northern Virginia-Washington, D.C. Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce (ICAC) zeroed in on a home in the 9300 block of Witch Hazel Way last Thursday.
Police took several items from the house after obtaining a search warrant, according to a Manassas police spokeswoman.
The suspect is scheduled to appear in Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.
