DALE CITY, Va. – On September 28, a 32-year-old woman told police that her and the suspect were arguing when she was supposedly struck in the face. The victim was hospitalized for her injuries and the suspect was arrested.

Malicious Wounding – On September 28th at 2:45PM, officers responded to investigate an assault which was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 3000 block of Jenny Ln in Woodbridge (22192). The victim, a 32 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused allegedly struck the victim in the face. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without further incident.

Charged with malicious wounding
