LAKE RIDGE, Va. - On September 2, officers went to investigate a fight and upon arrival, discovered and identified the suspect, who was drunk. As police were trying to arrest her, the female suspect resisted by kicking an officer in the leg several times and she damaged a part of a police car while she kicked.

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On September 2nd at 12:11AM, officers responded to the area of Springwoods Dr and Chaucer Ln in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a domestic incident. During the encounter, officers located one of the parties involved and identified her as the accused. Officers further determined that the accused was intoxicated. Officers attempted to detain the accused who actively resisted. At one point, the accused kicked an officer multiple times in the leg. Once at a police cruiser, the accused continued to kick, striking the cruiser and damaging the rear quarter panel. Following a brief struggle, the accused was detained without further incident. No injuries were reported.
