LAKE RIDGE, Va. - On August 6th, a homeowner told police that a woman, looking for someone who lived at the home, forced herself inside and pushed a homeowner into a wall. According to the report, the woman left before police could arrive and an arrest warrant has been issued.

Residential Burglary – On August 6th at 12:05PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12900 block of Augustus Ct in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the accused came to his residence looking for another family member who resides at the home. The homeowner informed the accused that the person she was looking for was not at the residence. At that point, the accused forced her way into the home and assaulted the homeowner. During the encounter, the accused pushed the homeowner into a wall, causing damage. Another resident of the home attempted to separate the two parties, while another resident contacted police. The accused fled the area prior to officers arriving at the home. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants against the accused.
