BRISTOW, Va. – On August 5, intruders entered the Sheffield Manor Community Pool area and damaged a television in the community building. According to the report, the intruders may have entered through an unlocked door. Here’s the latest from Prince William police:
Commercial Burglary – On August 5th at 10:29AM, officers responded to the Sheffield Manor Community Pool located at 12354 Penzance Ln in Bristow (20136) to investigate a burglary. Staff reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:00PM on August 4th and 10:00AM on August 5th.
The investigation revealed that during that time, an unknown suspect(s) entered the pool area on the property and threw various items into the deep end of the pool. The suspect(s) then entered the community building, possibly through an unsecured door. Once inside, the suspect(s) damaged a television which was mounted on the wall. No property was reported missing. Damage is estimated around $845.
