Northern Virginia Community College will be closed for winter break Dec. 23 through Jan. 1. The College will reopen Jan. 2.
Registration for the spring semester will continue online while NOVA is closed. Students are encouraged to register at https://nvcc.my.vccs.edu as early as possible to have the most choices.
To give students additional time to complete registration transactions in person, NOVA will be open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11. Offices open that day include Testing Centers, Admissions, Counseling, Financial Aid, Veterans Affairs, Business Offices, Bookstores, Parking and ID Services.
NOVA offers thousands of classes beginning Jan. 13 with additional classes starting March 17.
Day, evening and weekend classes are available at NOVA’s six campuses in Alexandria, Annandale, Loudoun, Manassas, Springfield and Woodbridge.
For students who want additional flexibility, hundreds of online courses are offered by NOVA’s Extended Learning Institute. More than 40 degrees and certificates are offered entirely through online learning.
