Occoquan will Light Christmas Tree Tonight, Award Prizes

OCCOQUAN, Va. – The Town of Occoquan will hold the annual lighting of its Christmas Tree tonight.

Here’s more in a statement from Mayor Earine Porta:

This is a last reminder that on Friday, November 22, from 4:00 – 8:00, the Business Guild of Occoquan will be holding its annual holiday Open House. The town is decorated for the holidays and stores will be open until 8:00 p.m.

Promptly at 8:10 p.m. the Town Hall tree (314 Mill Street) will be lit, and then at 8:15 p.m. at nearby Hawthorne House Fine Papers, the Guild will give away $1,000 in gift certificates. No purchase is necessary; simply register during the evening to participate in the drawing. You must be present to win.
