WOODBRIDGE,Va. — A man reports being hit in the face with a glass bottle during a physical altercation.

Malicious Wounding –
On October 27th at 7:30PM, police responded to the 13900 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an assault.
The victim, a 40 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was involved in a physical altercation with the accused and another known male acquaintance.
During the encounter, the accused struck the victim in his face with a glass bottle. The victim sustained significant injuries to his face and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Injuries were non-life threatening. Following the investigation, officers obtained a warrant against the accused. The accused was eventually arrested the next day.
