iPhone More Popular West of I-95

It appears the iPhone is a more popular tool for users in our area who travel or live west of Interstate 95. Those who live or travel to the east of the highway prefer Android phones.

A map created by Tom MacWright collected user information from Twitter, looking at 280 million Tweets, according to GreaterGreaterWashington.org.

It’s interesting to note that use of Blackberry devices were concentrated more in the federal centers of Washington.

Nowhere on the map shows widespread use of Blackberry devices.

Nearly 420,000 people live in Prince William County, and more than 132,000 people live in Stafford County.

There are nearly 555 million Twitter users in the world. As for cell phone users, 91% of U.S. citizens have a cell phone, and 56% have a SmartPhone.
