MANASSAS PARK, Va. — Police are looking for a man who forced his way into a Manassas Park home in the 9200 block of Kristy Drive.

The home invasion happened at 2:47 p.m. on May 23, when a man armed with a handgun broke into the home and stole several items, said Manassas Park police spokeswoman Karen Barton. Information about the crime was released by police today.

Shortly after the home invasion took place, police searched the area but were unable to find anyone who met a description of the man given by the victims. No one was injured in the home invasion.

Police said the man was black, wearing a black shirt, and camouflage pants. The victim called police and told them the man fled the scene, said Barton.

Manassas Park police released images taken from surveillance video taken at a nearby convenience store prior to the break in.
