WOODBRIDGE, Va. — A construction worker was taken to a local hospital Monday after a roof collapsed today in in Woodbridge.
Fire and rescue crews were called to the 5600 block of Minnie Court, in the area of Spriggs and Minnieville roads, about 2 p.m. after the roof collapse. The roof was attached to a building that was under construction, said fire and rescue officials.
Prince William fire and rescue spokeswoman Kim Hylander said only one person was injured and was being transported to a medical facility. The patient’s condition was not released.
