1 Killed in Joplin Road Crash

Triangle, Va. —One man is dead and a woman seriously injured after their car flipped over while traveling on Joplin Road.

According to police, one occupant died at the scene while another is being flown to an area hospital for treatment. Both were found trapped inside the car.

The crash happened sometime after 11:30 a.m. and has prompted the closure of Joplin Road between the Prince William  County Public Schools Administration Building and just after Quantico National Cemetary.

Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area.
