The debate is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
Stafford, Va. — Two men vying for Commonwealth Attorney in Stafford County will debate each other tonight.
Both Republicans, current Stafford County Assistant Commonwealth Attorney Eric Olsen will square off with Jason Pelt who works as a defense attorney in Stafford.
The debate starts at 7 p.m. and will be held at the Stafford County Government Center.

Olsen has run on a platform of more community involvement between residents and the Commonwealth Attorney’s office.
Pelt says the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s office spends too much while prosecuting offenders.
The debate is sponsored by the Stafford County Republican Committee.
Voters will go to the polls Aug. 23 in Primary Election to decide which candidate will appear on the ballot for the general election on Nov. 8.
