The boyfriend of a woman found shot to death in North Stafford in 2010 was found guilty in her death.
Frederick Christian, of Baltimore County, Md., was convicted in Maryland on Monday after a jury concluded he shot 23-year-old Jerryell Myesha Foster and then dumped her body in a wooded area alongside Interstate 95.
Foster is the mother of Christian’s 2-year-old child, the Baltimore Sun reports.
Foster went missing sometime around Thanksgiving 2009. Her body was found March 2, 2010 in North Stafford, near the southbound ramp at Garrisonville Road (Va. 610).
Christian told a jury Foster went missing, and that he did know why he poured bleach on the carpets in her home and removed a love seat from the living room.
The murder weapon was never found, and prosecutors at Christian sentencing will aim for a life in prison without parole.
