Woodbridge, Va. –– A Metropolitan Police officer faces a charge in Prince William County.
Police were called on Sunday to the 2700 block of Brier Pond Circle near Dumfries for a report of shots fired. They arrested one man in connection to the incident, but now there’s word of another arrest in the case.
Joanne Nicole Marshall Ivy, 27, of Woodbridge was charged Tuesday with obstruction of justice after police say she provided false information to prevent being arrested.
Ivy is a police officer in Washington, said Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok.
Her court date was not released.
