STAFFORD — Orange cones continue to litter Route 610 in North Stafford.
“We’re asked all the time, ‘when will the orange cones go away,” said Stafford County Deputy Administrator Keith Dayton.

MANASSAS — Virginia Railway Express officials recommend expanding the Broad Run station from its current footprint northward across the tracks.
The commuter railroad recommends building the “north/south option” that would mean adding a new parking lot for riders across the tracks on the north side of the station. It would also mean adding a new station entrance on Residency Road, to provide more station access from Route 28.
The Woodbridge/Lake Ridge OmniLink buses will no longer serve some stops and will stop traveling through Tacketts Mill shopping center.

Flooding on the I-395 HOV Lanes at Landmark in Alexandria has caused major backups on the main lanes of Interstates 95 and 395.
There is no access to the Express Lanes at Prince William Parkway in Woodbridge.
BRISTOW — A Ford F-550 pick-up hauling a wood chipper caught fire this morning about 9:15.
Police and fire and rescue crews were called to the scene on Bristow Road near Barbee Road, according to Prince William police spokesman Nathan Probus.
