A sudden car problem caused an accident on Interstate 95 that ended with one man and another injured.
Virginia State Police Senior Trooper J. Fletcher is investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash in Spotsylvania County, according to a press release from police Sergeant Brent Coffey.
Two members of the Stafford County Board of Supervisors voted against the secondary six-year plan due to concerns of road safety measure prioritization.
The Board recently approved the secondary six-year plan that will be used in a joint venture with the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).
The driver of a 2003 Ford Focus that crashed on Prince William Parkway last night has died on June 8 as a result of severe injuries.
This single-car crash occurred near Golansky Blvd. in Woodbridge in the evening hours of June 7. The driver was headed eastbound and lost control of the vehicle.
The southbound entry ramp for the Interstate 395 E-ZPass Express Lanes near Edsall Road is closed for repair work.
The specific cause for this closure has not been released yet.

One person is in critical condition tonight after a crash on Prince William Parkway.
Fire and rescue crews were called to the intersection of the parkway and Sonora Street in Woodbridge, just across from BJs Wholesale Club at 9:20 p.m.
Residents of the Commonwealth of Virginia are going to see the cost of their vehicle registration fees reduced by as much as 25% beginning on July 1.
This news via a press release made by the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles comes as a result of the passing of a comprehensive transportation package that included a $10 reduction in the cost of those fees. This package was approved by the Virginia General Assembly and signed into law by Governor Ralph Northam.
The Manassas Welcome Center, located at a car rest area on Interstate 66 about six miles outside of the city, won’t reopen following the coronavirus pandemic.
Manassas City received notice on May 29 from the Virginia Tourism Corporation (VTC) that the center would be shut down and the building will be converted to a rest area only as a result of budgetary considerations by the VTC.

The Route 3 Business bridge over the Rappahannock River, also known as Chatham Bridge, will close to traffic for an improvement project beginning on Monday, June 22.
The bridge connecting Stafford County and the City of Fredericksburg will close to traffic at approximately 5 a.m. Monday, June 22.
