According to the U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), during the 2019 St. Patrick’s Day weekend alone (6 p.m. March 16 to 5:59 a.m. March 18), more than three out of five (63%) traffic crash-related fatalities involved a drunk driver. In fact, from 2015 to 2019, a total of 280 lives were lost in drunk-driving crashes during the St. Patrick’s Day period nationwide.
On Thursday, March 11 at 6:05 p.m., police in Prince William County were called to the scene of a motorcycle crash in the area of the Prince William Pkwy and Hynson Drive near Manassas.

After Route 17 southbound traffic is shifted to the left travel lane, the right travel lane will become a permanent 24-hour single lane closure until the project is complete in Aug. 2021.

All three travel lanes on I-95 northbound between exit 133 (Route 17) and exit 136 (Centreport Parkway) will be shifted slightly to the left, toward the median, to provide more space along the right shoulder for crews to work behind concrete barriers.
