WOODBRIDGE, Va. — In what is proving to be a busy night for police in Woodbridge, a man was stabbed and a homeless shelter evacuated in two separate incidents.
Police said a man was stabbed on Belfry Road, which is in a neighborhood near the intersection of Smoketown and Minnieville roads about 9 p.m. Monday.

Police released photos from a robbery that occurred Saturday at a Burke and Herbert bank branch on Smoketown Road in Woodbridge.

A man was shot and killed while walking his dog in Woodbridge last night. A suspect is in custody and is charged with murder.
WOODBRIDGE, Va. — A victim in a crash on Feb. 4 has succumbed to her injuries.
Prince William police said 58-year-old Earnestine R. Larry, of Woodbridge, died Feb. 9 after suffering a head injury in the crash. The victim was riding inside a 2007 Toyota Scion, and the driver of that car was not injured.

This morning’s ordeal that ended in a pick-up being crashed into a home in Woodbridge began just after midnight at an emergency shelter in Manassas.

Prince William police said a woman missing from her home last night was found and is doing fine this morning.

Police identified 49-year-old Scott Chambers as the suspect in connection to a burglary at an Islamic community center in Woodbridge. He remains on the loose white, 6’4″, 220 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.
