From Prince William police: 

Strangulation | Domestic Related – On July 5 at 3:34 a.m., officers responded to a residence located in the 13500 block of Delaney Rd in Woodbridge to investigate an assault. The victim, a 48-year-old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated physically.

Lake Ridge July 4, 2017 9:41 p.m. Occoquan-Woodbridge-Lorton Volunteer Department responded to the report of a house fire at 2255 Spinnaker Court, Lake Ridge. Initial units arrived on scene within minutes and reported fire from the roof. Crews worked quickly to fight the blaze which had spread over much of the roof. The fire was under control within 15 minutes.
