The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday afternoon it is trying to locate a missing and endangered person and that there is a large police presence near Pepper Tree Lane and Regester Chapel Road.
In a series of posts on X, the sheriff’s office said people should not engage with the subject, who may be armed with a knife. Anyone who sees him should call 9-1-1 immediately, the office said. People with more information were asked to contact the emergency dispatch center at 540-658-4400.
