Abdur Roland, a Prince William County resident, pled guilty today to counts of robbery, use of a firearm in a crime, and being in possession of a firearm with a felony record.
Roland was involved in gang activity, and used the name “Boo” in his gang dealings, and has been linked to the Bloods street gang.
A wind chill advisory that was supposed to end at 9 a.m. Friday will be extended until noon. And even then there’s no immediate signs of the cold letting up.

Due to a shortage of psychiatric services in the area, the Prince William County Board of Supervisors has approved a telepsychiatry program for county employees.
The program uses video-conferencing technology for individuals to meet virtually with a psychiatrist.

John Jones, a former Brigadier General with the Army National Guard and a Stafford resident, pled guilty today for his involvement in a contracting bribery scheme.
After retiring from the National Guard, Jones founded a company called the Military Personnel Services Corporation (MPSC).
