A Woodbridge woman has been arrested, following a fight, and a high-speed car chase.

According to Prince William police, officers were called to Varsity Drive in Woodbridge for a fight. When an office arrived, they got information that the victim, a 51-year old Woodbridge man, had been stabbed, and 40-year old Woodbridge woman Tina Scales left the scene in a vehicle, stated Prince William police.

Several individuals from Prince William and Manassas have been sentenced in federal court, following a long investigation into the ‘None Trey Gangsters Bloods’ street gang.

According to a U.S. Justice Department release, the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force led the investigation into the group, which led to federal prosecution of 37 area gang members – 18 of which were from Prince William and Manassas.

Governor Terry McAuliffe met with parents, teachers and administrators at an ‘education roundtable’ at Brooke Point High School in Stafford last week.

Meeting in the newly completed library facility at the high school, the roundtable, which was run by Virginia Secretary of Education Anne Holton, gave time for parents to speak to McAuliffe about education.

As construction at the intersection of Route 1, Route 17 Business and Route 218 in Falmouth draws to a close, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will begin overnight paving work.

According to VDOT, milling paving and line stripping work will begin tomorrow night, and run through September 30.
