Voting is underway in Virginia's Super Tuesday Primary Election.
Voters casting ballots today will tell convention delegates who to nominate for U.S. President. Voting takes place in Virginia, as well as 12 other states today that are holding Primary Elections and Caucuses.
The polls opened at 6 a.m. and will close at 7 p.m. The Dumfries voting precinct at Town Hall saw 101 voters by 8:30. That's about 4% of the of the precinct's registered voters.

At least 1,000 people attended a candlelight vigil Sunday night for Prince William police Officer Ashley Guindon.
The vigil was held at Sean T. Connaughton Plaza behind the McCoart Building on Prince William Parkway in Woodbridge. A large U.S. Flag was draped from two ladder fire engines at the front of the plaza.
People held candles and electric candles with a blue glow to remember the fallen officer.

A woman called 911 Saturday night during a domestic dispute with her husband.
She was shot and killed before police arrived her home in the 15000 block of Lashmere Court in Dale City.
Three other officers were shot -- one of them fatally.

Today's was Ashley Guindon's first day as a Prince William County Police Officer.
Sadly, it was also her last.
Guindon was shot to death after she was called to a domestic situation on Lashmere Court in near Dale City on Saturday. She was one of three officers shot and flown to a local hospital.

Three police officers were shot during a domestic incident Dale City, according to multiple sources.
Shots rang out at a single family home near the intersection of Lashmere Court and Tahoma Way sometime after 6 p.m. Saturday. The condition of the three officers is unknown.
We’re also told one other person who was inside the home was also shot, whose condition is also unknown.

A plane ran off the runway tonight at Manassas Regional Airport.
Fire and rescue crews were called about 6 p.m. Thursday for a report of a single-engine aircraft off the runway. No one was injured.
The pilot walked away from the crash and refused treatment, according to Manassas fire officials.
