Keith Scarborough has been reappointed to another 3-year term on the Prince William County Electoral Board by the Circuit Court of Prince William County. Working with the General Registrar, the Electoral Board is responsible for overseeing all voter registration and election activities in the County.
From Prince William County police:
Strong Armed Robbery *ADDITIONAL SUSPECT IDENTIFIED – On February 3, detectives from the Robbery Unit identified a second suspect involved in the robbery which occurred in the area of Hoadly Road and Apollo Drive in Woodbridge on February 1.
According to Virginia State Police Sgt. Les Tyler, a Woodbridge man died yesterday on Interstate 95 when he lost control of his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and struck a guardrail in Stafford.
Allen Lee Franklin, 26 of Woodbridge, was traveling Northbound Wednesday February 8, 2017 at approximately 2:28 a.m. when he ran off the road, struck a guard rail and was ejected from his motorcycle. Despite wearing a helmet Franklin was pronounced dead at the scene.
From Stafford County Sheriff’s Office:
On February 7, 2017 at approximately 9:30 p.m. Deputy N.C. Potter was dispatched to a report of a domestic assault that had past occurred between a male and female on Charter Gate Drive in Stafford. Upon arrival he spoke with the female subject who reported that earlier that day she had driven to her ex-boyfriends residence to retrieve some personal belongings.

From Manassas City:
City of Manassas voters will see a few new changes in the next election cycle. Because the number of voters at the various polling places has grown, a voting precinct has been added at George C. Round Elementary School. City residents will receive a voter registration letter in the coming month that will include residents’ voting precinct information.
Rescue crews are on the scene of an overturned pickup on Interstate 66 West near Prince William Parkway.
Crews are working to pull one victim from the truck, according to initial reports.

There’s a good chance that Nixon Barahona will remember the numbers 5,9,12,19 and 26 for a long time. Those are the numbers with which the Woodbridge man won $100,000 in the Virginia Lottery’s Cash 5 game.
From VRE:
The VRE Operations Board considers fare increases every two years to offset expected increases in operating costs. This year, we are proposing a three percent fare increase to help pay for increased costs associated with rising track access fees, labor and maintenance costs, and other contractual obligations.
