A Fairfax man sought for rape and previously at large, has been arrested in Prince William County. Fairfax County police were not able to comment on the exact location of the arrest, and are no longer the primary investigating agency.

STAFFORD, Va. — Mark Dudenhefer will run to reclaim a seat on the Stafford County Board of Supervisors.

In his fall 2017 run for the Garrisonville District seat, the Republican said he plans to bring back a focus on local transportation issue to the Board. Improving the county’s roadways was his signature issue after he was first elected to the Board in 2005.

Snakehead infiltrates Virginia waters and legislation

Lurking in the Potomac River is a wriggly monster that can grow to four feet long. With its sharp teeth, the snakehead devours other fish, and biologists fear it could spread across the country. It may not be the second coming of “Jaws,” but Virginia officials view the invasive species as a possible threat.

The phone lines are having intermittent issues.  Not all calls are impacted.  We are asking people if no one answers the line, then to call back immediately.  The technicians have arrived and are on site right now determining the problem.  I don’t have an estimate on the length of time until we are back to 100%.
