STAFFORD — Staff and volunteers at a Stafford County library are shaken.
Someone walked into the Porter Library in Park Ridge at 3:36 p.m. Friday and took more than $120 from a used book sale.

MANASSAS — Police in Manassas say they have their fugitive.
Cameron Alexander Neal, 27, is in custody, according to city police spokesman Chuck Sharp.

They’ll make $48,200 per year, and they’ll serve Prince William County residents and visitors on some of the worst days of their lives.
Good Morning Prince William –Saved Hands Foundation is collecting school supplies for kids in the Woodbridge area on Wednesday, August 8th at the Potomac Community Library from noon-3:30pm. They would greatly appreciate loose-leaf paper, binders, composition books, spiral notebooks and pencil holders. It’s a great way to send a child off with a couple of the basics to make them successful in school.

STAFFORD — At least one person was flown to a hospital after being involved in a dirt bike crash.
Fire and rescue crews were called to Inez Way off Andrew Chappel Road in Stafford County at 8:46 p.m. Saturday for a report of a crash involving two dirt bikes.
After using a gun to obtain an unidentified item at a pharmacy inside a Target store, the suspect shot and killed himself.

Murder Investigation *ARREST – On August 2, detectives from the Homicide Unit identified and arrested the suspect involved in the shooting death of an adult male that occurred at a residence located in the 14700 block of Arizona Ave in Woodbridge (22191) on August 1. The investigation revealed that the victim and the suspect were on the back deck of the home when the shooting occurred. The victim died as a result of his injuries.
