RICHMOND, Va. – A conference committee of 10 legislators has less than a week and a half to hammer out a compromise between the House and Senate versions of a bill to increase transportation funding in Virginia.

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Rescue crews were called to a man’s house on Cuddly Loop, just off Prince William Parkway in Woodbridge, for a report of an unconscious man.

But it’s what the man did when he woke up that caught the attention of law enforcement, police said.

STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. — What’s the price of fuel these days? Apparently it’s too much for someone who siphoned off 300 gallons of diesel from a parked tractor trailer in Stafford County.

The gas was siphoned from a truck carrying cars sometime between the late evening hours of Tuesday and the early morning hours of Wednesday, said Stafford sheriff’s spokesman Bill Kennedy.

STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. — Efforts to clear the way for an improved intersection at U.S. 1 and Va. 218 in Falmouth began this week.
