TRIANGLE, Va. – On August 4, a 29-year-old woman told police that a male friend kept her from leaving after an argument. She was hospitalized for non-life threatening injuries. Police have issued an arrest warrant against the male friend.

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Plans for the construction of two new public safety facilities – a fire and rescue station and a police station – are still in the works.
Both separate buildings will be built at the corner of Prince William Parkway and Davis Ford Road in Woodbridge. Combined, the stations will cost $30.2 million.

DALE CITY, Va. — Fire crews were called to a blaze at an apartment complex on Darbydale Avenue in Dale City.
The fire broke out at a home in the Dale Forest Apartments about 7 p.m. Members of the Dale City Volunteer Fire Department said the blaze was knocked down quickly but major overhaul work was required after flames were doused.
