Stafford: The Law Enforcement/Private Property Tow Board meeting scheduled for Thursday January 27 has been canceled due to impending inclement weather. Women are more likely to die of heart disease than breast cancer, and an area hospital has some pointers on how to live healthier to avoid the risk.
In the recent blog entry in Sentara Potomac Hospital’s blog, Maureen Deutermann, R.N. MSN says heart disease is the number one killer of women in the U.S., age 20 or over. Another statistic: One in 30 women die from breast cancer, compared to the one in three who die from heart cancer.
